The Tuktak (or Species 13, their Borg designation) were an insectoid civilization native to a homeworld located somewhere in the Milky Way Galaxy. The Tuktak were known for employing regenerating shield technology. They hated all warm-blooded species and preferred to kill their enemies by dismemberment.
The Tuktak were known as the Ku among other races. (VOY novel: Seven of Nine)
