Tutakai was a star located somewhere in the space of the galaxy's Alpha or Beta Quadrants. Along with a binary star companion named Tikopai, Tutakai was part of the Tikopai binary star system in Federation space, located several parsecs from Earth. The Starfleet starship USS Tutakai was named for this body. (ST reference: Star Fleet Technical Manual)
