Ty'Gokor

Ty'Gokor.

Ty'Gokor was a fortified planetoid located in an asteroid belt deep in Klingon space. It is home to the Hall of Warriors, and the Order of the Bat'leth is headquartered there. At times of war, Ty'Gokor served as headquarters for the Klingon Chancellor and the Klingon High Command, and as such, was the most heavily fortified installation in the Klingon Empire, defended by shielding, weapons platforms, and a tachyon detection grid, in addition to at least thirty warships at any given time. (ST - The Lost Era novel: The Art of the Impossible, DS9 episode: "Apocalypse Rising")

In 2152, after his failure to apprehend the Rha'daran "rebels," Duras, son of Toral was demoted and sent to serve on Ty'Gokor's defense perimeter. (ENT episode: "Judgement", ENT novelization: The Expanse)

In 2373, shortly after the start of the Federation-Klingon War of 2373, Chancellor Gowron moved Klingon Military Headquarters from Qo'noS to Ty'Gokor. A short time later, a small Starfleet team led by Benjamin Sisko infiltrated Ty'Gokor and exposed General Martok as a Changeling imposter, who was then killed. (DS9 episode: "Apocalypse Rising")

After the Dominion War, Captain Klag and Federation Ambassador Worf was inducted into the Order of the Bat'leth at Ty'Gokor. (GKN novel: A Good Day to Die)

After Qo'noS was devastated during the Borg Invasion of 2381, Chancellor Martok moved the seat of the Klingon government to Ty'Gokor. As of April of 2381, it was uncertain whether that move would be temporary. (ST novel: A Singular Destiny)

Ty'Gokor also contained a shipyard. The engineers who worked at the shipyard worked on designing the Vo'Quv-class super carrier for over three years. (ST website : The Path to 2409)
