Commander Tyler Mendez was an Earth Starfleet officer during the Earth-Romulan War.
History[]
In 2155, Mendez served as the executive officer of the USS Yorktown after it left the Proxima Maintenance Yards.
In 2156, Mendez was still aboard the Yorktown when the ship became involved in the Battle of Andoria. Mendez cut Travis Mayweather off when Mayweather addressed General Shran out of turn. Mendez was considerably angered by Mayweather's actions. Later that year, Mendez gladly approved Mayweather's transfer off the Yorktown because Mendez believed he was a bad luck charm.
