The Type-17 shuttlecraft was a type of Federation shuttlecraft in service with the Federation Starfleet in the late 24th century. At least two shuttlecraft of this type, among them the Argo, were assigned to the USS Enterprise-E, starting in at least the year 2379. History

In late 2379, the Argo was used to investigate the surface of the planet Kolarus III. (TNG movie & novelization: Nemesis)

At some point, the Argo was seen on approach to the Enterprise's shuttlebay and at some other point, the Argo and one other craft of this type participated in a geophysical mission in a planetary system. (Ships of the Line calendars: 2011 & 2014)
