Seven's typewriter

Gary Seven's advanced 1960s typewriter.

A typewriter was a machine used for typing characters.

History and specifics[]

Benny Russell used a typewriter when writing his science fiction stories. (DS9 episode: "Far Beyond the Stars", DS9 novel: Inferno) Russell's typewriter was a Remington. He considered it a lucky one, as it was stenciled with drawings of the Trylon and Perisphere from the 1939 New York World's Fair. (DS9 novelization: Far Beyond the Stars)

The advanced typewriter in Gary Seven's New York City office in the year 1968 automatically typed dictation onto sheets of paper, decades before voice recognition was popularly available with Earth technology. (TOS - Assignment: Earth comic: "Brighter Than a Thousand Suns")
