The Tzenkethi War was a military conflict waged between the Tzenkethi Coalition and the United Federation of Planets in the early 2360s.

The USS Okinawa, under Captain James Leyton and first officer Benjamin Sisko, was engaged in action against the Tzenkethi during the war. During the war, the Okinawa pursued three Tzenkethi raiders into an asteroid belt. (DS9 episodes: "The Adversary", "Paradise Lost")

Several members of the Okinawa crew died during the war. (DS9 short story: "Requital")

In 2362, the Okinawa and the USS Assurance engaged two Tzenkethi marauders to stop the Tzenkethi taking control of bilitrium resources in the Entelior star system. (ST - Typhon Pact novel: Rough Beasts of Empire)

Leonard James Akaar commanded the USS Wyoming during the Tzenkethi War. (ST - The Fall novel: Revelation and Dust)

Doctor Rebecca Emmanuelli was captured by the Tzenkethi during the war and held as a prisoner for four years. Because of her medical skills, the Tzenkethi listed her as dead after the armistice to avoid returning her to the Federation. After the civilian group Liberation Watch discovered evidence she was in fact alive, Starfleet dispatched the USS Saratoga to investigate. Facing renewed hostilities, the Tzenkethi released the doctor. Nanietta Bacco's son-in-law was a civilian relief worker during the war. T'Pragh also served during the war. (ST novel: Articles of the Federation)

The Tzenkethi War had ended by 2364. (TTN novel: Orion's Hounds)
