The USS Ahwahnee (NCC-71620 and NCC-73620) was a Federation starship, a Cheyenne-class tier 4 light cruiser in Starfleet service in the 2350s and 2360s decades. The name originated from a Native American word for the Yosemite Valley. (TNG episode: "The Best of Both Worlds", ST reference: Star Trek Encyclopedia, ST video game: Trexels mission: "Skirmish")
