The USS Akagi (NCC-62158-A) was a Federation Armitage-class heavy escort carrier in service in the early 25th century. (ST video game: Star Trek Online)

History[]

In 2409 the Akagi was part of a joint Starfleet/Klingon Defense Force fleet dispatched to New Romulus to reinforce the Romulan Republican Force defenders against a major Elachi assault. (STO mission: "Devil's Choice")

In 2410, the Akagi was in drydock in orbit of Earth during The Battle of Sol during the Iconian War. The U.S.S. Defiant attempted to protect the Akagi and its battle group inside the gantries, but was overwhelmed by the Iconian Fleet. An alliance starship stabilized the docks, allowing the Akagi the necessary to power up and join the battle and defend Earth from the Iconians. STO mission: "Midnight"
