The USS Alaska (NCC-3001) was a Federation Royal Sovereign-class battle cruiser starship in Starfleet service in the 24th century. This ship, built at Salazaar Shipyards, was completed on reference stardate 2/7802, and was one of a number of vessels named for the geographical region Alaska on Earth's North American continent. - No specific history or definitive final fate was established for this vessel as its name was listed for RPG scenarios. While the ship was listed as active in the game book set in 2364, it should probably be considered to be taken out of service by the time the next Defiant-class USS Alaska is mentioned in a 2370s game.
