The USS Alhambra[3] (NCC-75256)[4] was 24th century Federation starship, a California-class support ship[1] in Starfleet service in the 2380s decade. (LD episode: "Veritas")

Service history and disposition[]

The Alhambra was one of several California class vessels in operation in the 2380s decade, and was named for the city of Alhambra in California on Earth. Its configuration was nearly identical to the USS Cerritos, and if one was not paying attention, many aspects of the ships and their crews could be confused for each other.

In the year 2380, the Alhambra was under the command of an unnamed Human Captain, who bore a resemblance to Carol Freeman. While the Alhambra and the Cerritos were both docked at a starbase, Doctor T'Ana mistakenly boarded this ship instead of the Cerritos. The event served as evidence during Imperium Magistrate Clar's history stone etching party on K'Tuevon Prime in 2380. (LD episode: "Veritas")

USS Alhambra

USS Alhambra in 2381.

On stardate 58499.2 in 2381, the Alhambra was one of several California-class starships summoned by Beckett Mariner of the Independent Archaeologists Guild vessel Free Spirit to aid the Cerritos in battle against the rogue AI-operated Texas-class starships Aledo, Dallas and Corpus Christi, after the latter had sacked Douglas Station and disabled the USS Van Citters.

Following the Oakland, the Alhambra was the second Cali-class ship to arrive at the scene. The combined fleet engaged the surviving Aledo and destroyed the rogue vessel. After the destruction of the Texas class, the Alhambra captain was among those joining the Cerritos in a celebratory conference call over viewscreen. The fleet then returned to Douglas Station for repairs. (LD episode: "The Stars at Night")
