USS Aloia

The USS Aloia was a Miranda-class Federation Starfleet starship in service in the 23rd century.

Construction of the Aloia was completed at the Utopia Planitia Fleet Yards in 2261. In that year, James T. Kirk was given temporary command of the Aloia to provide assistance to Carol Marcus and Kraden Interplanetary Research. This was the first command that Kirk ever had, even before the USS Oxford.
