The USS Andromeda (NCC-2505) was a Federation starship, a Constellation-class class XII heavy cruiser in Starfleet service in the 24th century, one of a number of ships to be named Andromeda after the constellation Andromeda and the galaxy of Andromeda.
Service history and disposition[]
The Andromeda was commissioned on reference stardate 2/6407. The Andromeda was recorded destroyed on stardate 2/9803. (FASA RPG module: Star Trek: The Next Generation Officer's Manual)
By the late 24th century, this vessel had been succeeded in name by the Akira-class USS Andromeda. (ST video game: Armada)
