The USS Asclepius was a Federation starship, a medical ship that was in service to Starfleet in the year 2270.
Service history and disposition[]
Upon the return of the USS Enterprise from her five-year mission, the Asclepius was stationed at Starbase 212, under the fleet command of Admiral Koraxi. Leonard McCoy and Spock uncovered that Koraxi was using the Asclepius for illicit medical experiments, and were able to take him into custody. (TOS - Year Five comic: "Issue 14")
