The USS Athens (NCC-47700) was a 25th century Federation starship, a Presidio-class command battlecruiser in Starfleet service in the 2410s decade. (STO - Delta Rising mission: "War Games")
History[]
In the year 2409, the Typhoon-class battleship USS Athens (NCC-96047) suffered damage during Starfleet war games in the Draylon star system, leading to its commanding officer Captain T'Vala being unmasked as an Undine spy. (STO - Cardassian Struggle mission: "War Games")
The Presidio-class battlecruiser was launched as part of Operation Delta Rising in 2410. (STO - Delta Rising mission: "Mindscape")
The new Athens replaced the previous battleship, and took its place in Starfleet war games. (STO - Delta Rising mission: "War Games")
