The USS Atlantis (NCC-97835) was a 25th century Federation starship, the tier 6-rated Atlantis-class temporal destroyer prototype in Starfleet service in the 2410s decade. (STO website: Both Worlds: 14th Anniversary Bundle!)

Service history[]

The USS Atlantis was an evolution of the 2360s-era Challenger-class hull and entered service around 2411. As a temporal destroyer, the Atlantis class combined the characteristics of a timeship with that of a destroyer. The Atlantis was the first ship equipped with the disassembler emitter. This emitter was a powerful technology that causes localized disruptions to molecular bonds, resulting in disintegration. (STO website: Both Worlds: 14th Anniversary Bundle!)

In that year, the Khitomer Alliance joined forces with the Aetherian Concordium due to a multiversal campaign by the Borg Kingdom. The Borg originated from the mirror universe and invaded the primary universe and fluidic space. The mirror universe Borg required advanced technology to counter. (STO - Kings & Queens mission: "Scorpion's Abyss")

From 2411 onwards, the Atlantis represented its class on the shipyards interfaces operated by New Romulus Shipyards, Klingon Defense Force Order of Builders and Starfleet Shipyards Operations at Khitomer Alliance facilities across the Milky Way Galaxy. (STO - The Iconian War missions: "Explore the Flotilla", "The Hunt is On", "Welcome to Earth Spacedock")

Flag officers of the Alliance could deploy the Atlantis alongside other spacecraft for assignments across the galaxy's quadrants as part of Operation: Delta Rising's four-quadrant strategy. (STO - New Dawn mission: "Admiralty System")
