The USS Bellerophon (NCC-62048) was a Federation Nebula-class explorer that served Starfleet in the mid-24th century. The ship was named after a mythological Greek hero who worked with Pegasus to kill the Chimera. In 2359, Ensign Natasha Yar was assigned to the Bellerophon as a junior security officer after graduating from Starfleet Academy. (ST video game: Starship Creator)
In 2362, the Bellerophon performed a star charting expedition of the Drago Cluster and used a revolutionary new procedure that was designed by the ship's head of stellar cartography, Lieutenant Commander Nella Daren. (ST video game: Starship Creator)
