The USS Beowulf (NCC-1605) was a Federation starship in Starfleet service in the mid-23rd century. (TOS novel: The Captain's Oath)

Service history[]

In 2251, Robert Wesley became the commanding officer of the Beowulf, serving on two five-year missions through 2262. (ST video game: Starship Creator)

By 2262, Captain Wesley had been in command of the ship for nearly a decade. In that year, the ship was seconded to Federation Border Patrol and operated out of Starbase 24. As the senior-most officer, Wesley was in charge of the task force that included the USS Hannibal and the USS Sacagawea.

As part of that mission, the task force faced off against Klingon Empire pirates. (TOS novel: The Captain's Oath)

Later that year, Beowulf undertook a major overhaul after returning to spacedock. (ST video game: Starship Creator)
