The USS Blackthorne (NCC-76719) was a Federation starship, an Intrepid-class explorer in service to Starfleet in the late 24th century. This starship was commanded by Thann Pentis.
Service history and disposition[]
In the service history of the Blackthorne, Captain Pentis invented the Pentis Maneuver.
In the year 2374, the Blackthorne engaged a Dominion battlecruiser in combat resulting in the destruction of the latter ship. Following this victory, the Blackthorne patrolled the Styx Rift. This starship later participated in the Second Battle of Vulcanis. (Decipher RPG module: Starships)
