The USS Brigid (NCC-82801) was a 25th century Federation starship, the prototype of the Brigid-class multi-mission explorer in Starfleet service in the 2410s decade. (STO - Reckoning mission: "Welcome to Earth Spacedock")
Service history and disposition[]
In the year 2410, the USS Brigid was configured as an engineering division vessel and based on the Vesta-class surveillance multi-mission explorer. The Brigid was also specialized in surveillance, and equipped with an isometric discharge array. This array damaged an opposing vessel with an electric blast. Unlike other classes of the Vesta line, a mission pod was attached to the dorsal hull. (STO - Reckoning mission: "Welcome to Earth Spacedock", STO website: Reckoning: T6 Multimission Explorers Stats!)
From the year 2410 onward, the Brigid represented its class in the Starfleet Shipyards Operations interface. (STO - Klingon War mission: "Welcome to Earth Spacedock")
Khitomer Alliance flag officer in, or aligned with, Starfleet, deployed Brigid for missions around the galaxy's four quadrants as part of the four-quadrant strategy. (STO - Klingon War mission: "Welcome to Earth Spacedock", admiralty system)
