The USS Canopus (NCC-1814) was a Constitution-class (Tikopai-subclass) Federation heavy cruiser starship ordered for Starfleet service in the 23rd century, named for the star Canopus.
Construction of Canopus was authorized by the Starfleet appropriation of stardate 5930. (TOS reference: Star Fleet Technical Manual)
Hor was built as a Ranger-class battle carrier (BCV). (ST video games: Starfleet Command II: Empires at War, Starfleet Command: Orion Pirates)
