The USS Capitoline (NCC-82617) was a 24th century Federation starship, a Vesta-class multi-mission explorer in Starfleet service in the 2380s decade. Initially, the Capitoline was one of the few Starfleet starships equipped with a quantum slipstream drive. (DTI novel: Watching the Clock)

Service history and disposition[]

Captain Roberta Holverson served as the Capitoline's commanding officer. (TTN novel: Fallen Gods)

In the year 2382 of the First Splinter[5] timeline, the Capitoline transported Department of Temporal Investigations agents Meyo Ranjea and Teresa Garcia to the Vomnin Confederacy's Bezorek Station deep in the Gum Nebula. (DTI novel: Watching the Clock)

Later that year, after the Andorian Empire seceded from the Federation, the Capitoline was assigned to rendezvous with the USS Titan near the Vela Pulsar, and take its Andorian crewmembers back for reassignment. Captain Holverson was sympathetic with Captain William T. Riker but keen to execute her orders. (TTN novel: Fallen Gods)

On stardate 60145.7 in February 2383, the Capitoline transported DTI agents again. In mere hours, she brought T'Viss, Gariff Lucsly, and Marion Dulmur to the Lembatta Cluster in order to rendezvous with the DTI Nova-class science vessel USS Everett. (DTI novel: Forgotten History)
