The USS Carter was a Federation starship, an Oberth-class science vessel starship in service to Starfleet in the 23rd and 24th centuries. (Last Unicorn RPG module: Star Trek: The Next Generation Narrator's Toolkit)

History[]

This ship was used in the elite Klingon Command Academy bridge crew training simulations for the class of 2290. As such, she was encountered in the Regas star system in a simulated mission, in company with the USS Armstrong. (ST video game: Klingon Academy)

In the 2360s, the Carter was classed as a diplomatic vessel and was commanded by Captain Thompson. (Last Unicorn RPG module: Star Trek: The Next Generation Narrator's Toolkit)
