The USS Castor (NCC-1833) was a Constitution-class (Tikopai-subclass) Federation heavy cruiser starship ordered for Starfleet service in the 23rd century, named for the star system at Castor.
Construction of Castor was authorized by the Starfleet appropriation of stardate 5930. (TOS reference: Star Fleet Technical Manual)
- The stardate given would seem to suggest this ship was ordered during the TAS era. It is not even known if this vessel was built, only that it was authorized.
