- For other uses, see Chicago.
The USS Chicago (NCC-1651) was a Federation starship, a Miranda-class cruiser in Starfleet service, launched in the 23rd century.
Service history and disposition[]
In the 2280s decade, the Chicago was outfitted for duty as a heavy cruiser (NCA). (ST video game: Starfleet Command, ST video game: Starfleet Command II: Empires at War, ST video game: Starfleet Command: Orion Pirates)
- No further history or definitive fate is established for this vessel in the SFC series as its name was randomly selected for a playing field starship by the games' software.
Modified with an upper mission pod, Chicago continued in service in the mid-to-late 24th century. (ST video game: Infinite)
- The Star Trek Infinite game software has each campaign having a certain chance of spawning a Miranda ship named "Chicago" from a list of preselected names. Through this application of video game logic, it is also possible that this name would be assigned to a number of other types of vessels.
