The USS Chimera (NX-97400) was a Federation starship, a Chimera-class heavy destroyer in Starfleet service in the 25th century. The ship was developed by the Starfleet Corps of Engineers at the Utopia Planitia Fleet Yards and launched 2409 under the command of Captain Nog. (STO - The Iconian War mission: "Time in a Bottle")

In 2410, Nog and a fellow Alpha Quadrant Alliance captain procured a Krenim artifact from the shady Ferengi trader Qwen at Drozana Station. The artifact had been found on Kyana moon in the Delta Quadrant. The Chimera and its companion ship traveled to the Kyana system. After fighting of Iconian Heralds in orbit and on the surface, Captain Nog activated the device and made contact with Krenim survivors hiding in the system.
