The USS Cicada (NCC-1005) was a Federation starship, an Engle-class starship in Starfleet service in the 2250s decade. (STO - Mirror of Discovery mission: "Operation Riposte")
Service history[]
A few weeks following the Battle of the Binary Stars in May 2256, the Cicada participated in Operation Riposte, an early Starfleet offensive in the Federation-Klingon War of 2256-2257. Coordinated by Lieutenant Commander Patel and the USS Buran, the Cicada tractored Klingon House Mo'Kai DaSpu-class troop transports captured by the fleet after retaking Priors World.
