- For other uses, see Clark.
The USS Clark (NCC-3898) was a Federation starship, a Ptolemy-class transport tug of the Doppler-subclass (Mk VIB), ordered for construction in the 23rd century.
Service history and disposition[]
Construction of Clark was authorized by the Starfleet appropriation of stardate 4990. (ST reference: Star Fleet Technical Manual)
- The stardate given would seem to suggest this ship was ordered during the TOS era in the late 2260s decade. It is not positively known if this vessel was built, only that it was authorized.
- Vessels of the Ptolemy-subclasses are named primarily for well-known astronomers.
