The USS Cluster was a Federation Miranda-class cruiser starship in Starfleet service in the 23rd century. This ship was in active service around the 2280s decade. (TOS comic: "Idol Threats")
History
In 2286, the USS Cluster had become training vessel for Starfleet cadets. Under the command of Captain Edward Fields, the Cluster was to a a planet in sector 9. Unfortunately, the Captain and his landing party were killed in a Romulan ambush.(TOS comic: "Idol Threats")
