The USS Columbia (NCC-170147) was a 25th century Federation starship, a Galaxy X-class dreadnought cruiser in Starfleet service in the 2400s decade. Its commanding officer was Captain Veslin.
Service history and disposition[edit | edit source]
The Galaxy X-class USS Columbia was active during the Federation-Klingon War of 2405-2410 alongside its Odyssey-class star cruiser counterpart USS Columbia (NCC-97000).
In the year 2409, both ships were under command of Captain Veslin during their assignment to the Solanae Dyson Sphere, a Dyson sphere contested between the Khitomer Alliance and the Voth.
The ships were based in the Contested Zone and alternately kept watch over the Industrial Area, frequently coming into contact with Voth starships. (STO - Solanae Dyson Sphere mission: "Supply Woes")
