The USS Constance (NCC-10367) was a 24th century Federation starship, a Constellation-class cruiser[2] in Starfleet service in the 2360s decade. The serial number of the vessel's war damage report at the time of her loss was 6274835492-L. (PIC episode: "The Next Generation", end credits)
Service history and disposition[]
Starfleet officer Liam Shaw served as a grease monkey in engineering aboard the Constance in the year 2367.
On stardate 44002.3, the Constance was part of the Federation fleet that engaged the Borg cube at Wolf 359. A superior officer selected ten crewpersons among the 50 survivors to evacuate with the ship's escape pod. Shaw was among the survivors. The superior remained behind. The Borg destroyed the Constance. (PIC episode: "Disengage")
Legacy[]
In the 2400s, Liam Shaw served as captain of the USS Titan-A. When Admiral Jean-Luc Picard was a passenger aboard the Titan-A, Captain Shaw confronted him in the holodeck about his role as Locutus in the Battle of Wolf 359. Shaw related his experience aboard the Constance to Picard, his son Jack Crusher and Titan-A personnel frequenting the Ten Forward simulation. (PIC episode: "Disengage")
