Service history and disposition[edit | edit source]
On stardate 2262.45, the Constellation arrived at Home Station in the Hromi Cluster when the station faced a standoff with a Klingon fleet. The situation became more complicated when a Romulan fleet de-cloaked. During the subsequent war between the Federation, Klingon Empire and Romulan Star Empire in the trilateral Neutral Zone, the Constellation was one of the ships defending Home Station, aligned and non-aligned star systems in the contested zone from Nausicaans, Jelna, and other hostiles. (ST video game: Fleet Command)
Later in the year 2262, under the command of Commodore Dekker, the Constellation was the victim of a devastating attack by Glocon of Gornar, a newly minted Red Lantern being trained in the use of the Red Lantern power ring by Atrocitus. The two Red Lanterns surveyed the wreckage after the attack destroyed the vessel's forward living areas and decimated the bridge crew. (TOS - The Spectrum War comic: "Issue 3")

Background[edit | edit source]
- D-A-C gives no date, but as it features the USS Enterprise it is presumably set after the events of Star Trek, which featured the launch of the Enterprise in 2258.
- In D-A-C starship names are selected and allocated at random. The game features eleven Federation starship names which are assigned randomly to all classes of ships in the game. The Constellation is therefore also known as the name of vessels of the four other Starfleet classes in the game.
