Service history and disposition[]
The Odyssey-class USS Dennison was active during the Federation-Klingon War of 2405-2410.
In the year 2409, the Dennison was part of the Starfleet fleet defending the mining colony Tostig II and surrounding area in the Tostig star system from a Gorn invasion led by the IKS Kal'Ruq. At the time, the Gorn were semi-autonomous subjects of the Klingon Empire and sought to use the war to reclaim long-lost Gorn Hegemony territory. In another engagement, the Dennison participated in a Federation blockade of the Yov'bot system within Klingon territory. The Klingon Defense Force marshaled its defenders behind the new Bortasqu'-class dreadnought battlecruiser IKS Kal'Ruq. (STO - Klingon Sector mission: "Punch Through the Federation Blockade")
