The USS Dominion (NCC-2115) was a 23rd century Federation starship, a Ulysses-class dreadnought in Starfleet service in the 2280s and 2290s decades.
Service history and disposition[]
The Dominion was a successor to a previous ship commissioning, the Federation dreadnought USS Dominion. (ST reference: Star Fleet Technical Manual)
- Since both the Federation-class dreadnought prototype and this Ulysses-class dreadnought share the same registry number, it is possible and likely this vessel represents a drastic refit and the two are the same vessel in some way. However, there is precedent for successor vessels being assigned like registries, so this ship has its own individual article for the purposes of this wiki.
This USS Dominion was initially equipped as a standard dreadnought (DN).
This vessel had the capability of being modified for service as an advanced dreadnought (DN+ in the Agamemnon series), an improved dreadnought (DNG in the Entente series) or a heavy dreadnought (DNH in the Babylon series). (ST video game: Starfleet Command II: Empires at War)
