The USS Dr. Margaret Flinn was a Federation starship, a hospital ship in Starfleet service in the mid-23rd century, in the 2260s decade. In the year 2268, the Dr. Margaret Flinn was sent to Eeiauo to help with the ADF syndrome outbreak.
After Christine Chapel was affected by the outbreak, she was sent to the Flinn because Doctor Leonard McCoy didn't feel the Eeiauoans had the ability to treat her. (TOS novel: Uhura's Song)
