The USS Eagle was an Akula-class Federation starship in service during the late 23rd century.

This ship was used in the elite Klingon Command Academy bridge crew training simulations for the Class of 2290. As such, she was encountered in the Cain star system in a simulated mission, in company with the USS Kestral.

In this simulated mission, both the Kestral and Eagle were old starships which had been brought out of mothballs to be refitted to modern specifications, in order to replace "losses" suffered against the Klingons. (TOS video game: Klingon Academy)
