The USS Elgin was a starship in service to Starfleet in the 24th century.

In early 2377, following his leave on Earth, Bartholomew Faulwell traveled aboard the Elgin, to rendezvous with the USS da Vinci. (CoE eBook: Ghost) After Faulwell disembarked, Lieutenant Commander Mor glasch Tev boarded the Elgin, which then transported him to Andor for the funeral of a friend. (CoE eBook: Remembrance of Things Past, Book I)

The Elgin may have been named for science fiction author Suzette Haden ElginWP.
