The USS Equinox (NCC-97270) was a 25th century Federation starship, a tier 6-rated Equinox-class pilot scout ship and prototype of its class, in Starfleet service in the 2410s decade. (STO website: House United: The Agile Classics Ship Bundle!)
Service history and disposition[]
From the year 2411 onward, the Equinox represented its class on Starfleet Shipyards Operations interfaces at Federation shipyard and Khitomer Alliance facilities across the Milky Way Galaxy, including Earth Spacedock and the Jenolan Dyson Sphere. (STO - Delta Quadrant mission: "Escalation")
Khitomer Alliance flag officers deployed the Equinox in every quadrant of the galaxy as part of the four-quadrant strategy. (STO - New Dawn mission: "Welcome to Earth Spacedock")
Its mirror universe counterpart was the Terran science vessel ISS Equinox. (STO - Reflections mission: "Badlands Battlezone")
