The USS Farouk El-Baz (NCC-31823) was a Federation starship in service to Starfleet, commissioned in the 24th century.

In the year 2365, the El-Baz was under the command of Cari Thomas, assigned to captain El-Baz on patrol of sector 130 near the Romulan Neutral Zone. This information was listed on a starship deploy status report on a viewscreen on Starbase 173. (TNG episode: "The Measure of a Man")
