The USS Federation (NCC-67371) was a 25th century Federation starship, a Galaxy X-class dreadnought cruiser in Starfleet service from the 2400s decade. (STO - Klingon War mission: "Welcome to Earth Spacedock")
Service history and disposition[]
The refit that turned Galaxy-class ships into dreadnoughts became available in the late 24th century. (TNG video game: Birth of the Federation)
Unusual for its type, the Federation carried a unique registry number and did not share the common NCC-170147 with other Starfleet and mirror universe Imperial Starfleet dreadnoughts. (STO - Call to Arms mission: "Mirror Universe Incursion")
In Starfleet Shipyards Operations shipyard interfaces, the Federation visually represented the non-Fleet dreadnought configuration of the Galaxy X-class from 2409 onwards, while the USS Devron represented the Fleet counterpart. (STO - Klingon War mission: "Welcome to Earth Spacedock")
