In 2371, the Fredrickson underwent a refit at the Utopia Planitia Fleet Yards in orbit of Mars. (VOY episode: "Relativity")
The ship was heavily damaged in one of the early battles of the Dominion War, and needed to be towed away from the battle zone. (DS9 episode: "A Time to Stand") The Fredrickson was repaired in time to see action in Operation Return, the first major Federation and Klingon victory of the war. (DS9 episode: "Sacrifice of Angels")
On stardate 52646.1, the Fredrickson, along with the USS Sentinel and USS Musashi, was assigned to a Dominion sensor outpost in sector 25013, as part of an effort to destroy the shipyards at Orias III. (SCE ebook: War Stories, Book One)
