The USS Galaxy (NX-00000) was a Federation starship, a Galaxy-class cruiser in Starfleet service in the 2400s decade. (STO - Klingon War mission: "Welcome to Earth Spacedock")

Service history and disposition[]

In 2409, this ship shared its name and class with the first Galaxy-class ship, the USS Galaxy (NCC-70637). (STO - Klingon War mission: "Welcome to Earth Spacedock")

During the Federation-Klingon War of 2405-2410, the Galaxy was considered an experimental vessel and given an NX registry number prefix. As a result, commanding officers in Starfleet could re-register their vessel with an NX prefix. (STO - Klingon War mission: "Welcome to Earth Spacedock" C-Store "NX Ship Registry" purchasable item)
