The USS Ganges was a Federation Danube-class runabout in Starfleet service in the 24th century, assigned to Deep Space 9 in the 2370s decade. It replaced the earlier USS Ganges.
Service history[]
In the year 2371, Kira Nerys and Julian Bashir used the Ganges to respond to a distress call from the Xawe starship Gift of Flight, which was being attacked by the Helios. The Ganges arrived too late to save the Gift of Flight, which had been destroyed. (DS9 novel: Proud Helios)
In 2373, Worf, Kira Nerys and Jadzia Dax took Lwaxana Troi home to Betazed aboard the Ganges from Deep Space 9 after her marriage to Var Ulos was called off. (DS9 comic: "Four Funerals and a Wedding")
