The USS Golden Gate was a Federation starship of undisclosed class in service with Starfleet.

At one point in its service history, the Golden Gate spent a day in close orbit of Epsilon Theta's moon. One of the ship's physicists, Lieutenant Emery, painted a picture of the Golden Gate from a vantage point on the tiny moon. (Ships of the Line 2014, ST reference: Ships of the Line)

On the TrekBBS forum, the artist, Leonard A. Emery, says this ship is of the Athabaska-class.
