The USS Hood was a Federation starship in the Kelvin timeline.
Service History[]
The Hood was part of a Federation fleet sent to investigate Vulcan in alternate reality 2258, while it was being attacked by the Romulan mining vessel Narada.
Upon arrival at Vulcan, the Hood, along with the rest of the fleet, except for the Enterprise, was destroyed. (TOS novelization: Star Trek)
