The USS Hope (AH-7) was a seagoing ship on planet Earth in the 20th century.

Legacy[]
During early pre-production of the final TNG episode: "All Good Things...", the USS Pasteur was referred to as a Hope-class ship, in honor of the WWII hospital ship. This class-name never came to pass as the Pasteur had already been constructed and named by Bill George.
