The USS Horizon was a Daedalus-class starship, Starfleet registry NCC-176.
Captain Alonis Cobaryn would take command of the vessel in 2167. (Star Trek novel: Starfleet: Year One).
In 2168 she made first contact with Sigma Iota II. (TOS episode: "A Piece of the Action")
