The USS Hornet was a 23rd century Federation starship, an Excelsior-class heavy battlecruiser in Starfleet service in the 2290s decade.
Service history and disposition[]
This ship was used in the elite Klingon Command Academy bridge crew training simulations for the Class of 2290. As such, she was encountered in the Hyndman star system in a simulated mission, in company with the USS Fuller, USS Tempest and USS Fesoan. (ST video game: Klingon Academy)
