The USS Houston (NCC-97284) was a Federation starship, an Odyssey-class dreadnought in service to Starfleet in the year 2409. The Houston was assigned to Star Fleet Battle Group Omega, under the command of Admiral D'Vak. (ST video game: Star Trek Online)
History and specifications[]
In 2409 she led a task force containing five other ships against a large Borg fleet protecting a Borg Queen. Midway through the battle the Houston attacked a pair of Unimatrix 0047 command ships protecting the Queen's Borg diamond. One command ship struck her amidships with a plasma lance, and the Houston exploded seconds later. However, most of the crew made it to the escape pods. (STO mission: "Hive Onslaught")
