In the Kelvin timeline, the USS Intrepid (NCC-1485) was a Federation starship, a Intrepid-class battleship in Starfleet service in the 2260s decade.
History[]
During the war between the Federation, Klingon Empire and Romulan Star Empire in the trilateral Neutral Zone, the Intrepid was one of the ships defending Home Station, aligned and non-aligned star systems in the contested zone from Nausicaans, Jelna, and other hostiles. The ship's weapons and capabilities could be upgraded at Home Station, and crew rotations were handled at the E-class starbase as well.
At some point, the Intrepid acted as Federation peacekeeping vessel in the Nausicaan system. An Independent ship was hired by a team of Nausicaan thieves to engage and distract the Intrepid. The Nausicaans' coup was successful while the Intrepid's attention was diverted. (ST video game: Fleet Command)
